Contractor Help for MCM restoration work

Our Ju-Nel home needs some repairs:

*new roof

*new windows

*driveway

*fence

*kitchen

We are wondering if you know any contractors who are knowledgeable about updating these mid-century homes to keep them authentic. We are particularly concerned about use of products; what type of wood for the kitchen, replacement windows, landscaping, etc...

And, we would like to know the value of our home "as is", and then once restored.

2008 White Rock Tour of Homes

April 19-20, 2008 - Another awesome presentation of mid-century modern and new construction modern homes in the White Rock Lake area. What jewels these builders and architects have left. This annual White Rock Home Tour benefits a local school arts program and as we know, there is no art like architecture. Featured homes were found in Old Lake Highlands, Mediterranean Gardens, White Rock North and Lake Park Estates neighborhoods. One of our favorite builders, Ju-Nel Homes, was represented by a remarkable home at 9271 Meadowglen. Other architects represented included John Travis, Jr., Peg Rosenlund, Jonathan Delcambre and Frank J. Woerner. You won't want to miss it in 2009.
